History
Sam Wolfinbarger was the original proprietor of Sam’s Cellar. He opened the bar in the early 40′s to primarily serve the soldiers who were stationed at Neosho’s Camp Crowder.
Sam originally ran a luncheonette on the main level and the bar in the lower level. Sam is pictured in many of the photos now hanging throughout the cellar, which depict the merriment had by many.
